New islands off Japan

A new island has roused off the cost of Japan following a massive earth quack that hit the big country The island is very small about 200 metres wide and it might not last that long because it's made out of volcanic rock that erodes quite easily.

It was created by a volcanic eruption under the sea bed which forced lava and rock to burst through the     surface of the water.

The molten rock has then cooled and hardened on the water, turning it into a mini island. The new island was spotted due to the massive cloud of smoke blowing out in to the air.
