My three favourite hight lights of the year.

1: Basket ball this year was one of my hight lights of the year because I was never good at it before and I leant new things like ankle dribbling and more.And when I play a game of  basket ball I will know how to stand and how to pass how to score a score how to pivot how to bounce it that is fun one of the best sports  

2: Swimming was an other hight lights of the year because I can swim it is so much better to know how to swim I feel more confer dint in the pool I can swim 25 meters non stop. And if I was in the sea I could float on my back and kick back to the land. now I am better than my brother.

3: Reading I have gotten so so much better I was reading at a 8 year old and now I am at 11-half that is a big jump for me I am so happy that I made the test.My dad is so so happy that I am catching up in my reading he say that I have to read every day to catch up to the other kids in my class room.The other kids are in front of me in most but not in maths.

New islands off Japan

A new island has roused off the cost of Japan following a massive earth quack that hit the big country The island is very small about 200 metres wide and it might not last that long because it's made out of volcanic rock that erodes quite easily.

It was created by a volcanic eruption under the sea bed which forced lava and rock to burst through the     surface of the water.

The molten rock has then cooled and hardened on the water,turning it into a mini island.The new island was spotted due to the massive cloud of smoke blowing out in to the air.

a. Do you think fish are usually harmed by oil spills at sea?  Why do you say that?	No because most fish do not need to come up. And if they see it they might not come up in that spot
b. Why will you end up with only oil on your salad if you don’t shake the jar of salad dressing?	The oil will come out first because oil  floats on other liquids if you do not shake it.

a. In what ways do people suffer in a drought?	Well when there is no water people suffer of thirst and no grass will mean the animals will die of no food and we will die of hunger.
b. Why do you the fires spread quickly during a drought?	Because the drought will leave all the grass dry to start a fire. Then it will spread to the trees and the bushes.

a. Why (in the past) did some mothers rub snail juice onto their child’s joints?	Because The text said that if child has weak bones then mothers use snail juice to the bones strong.
b. Do people believe in unusual cures today? Why do you say that?	No, Because I think that they have made it up.

a.Do you think a deaf and blind person would use sign language?	Yes. But not for blind people can do sign language because they can’t see but can hear.
b. Why do you think sign language has become so popular around the world?	Because the french had started sign language and spread out around the world and then became famous.

a. Do you think the people who are surprised have caller display on their phones? Why do you say that?	No, Because it doesn't say on the text.
b. How might you answer differently if you didn’t recognise who was calling?	I would answer in a normal way even though I didn’t recognise who was calling.

My first day at PES school

My first day at school.

As I slowly walked to the door number 16 with a smile of in basement was staying there as i approached the door. I had a big grin then I got to the door then it slowly dropped I open the door with anger and in basement because I did not want to leave my old school.

Then Uili came slowly with a grin on his face and said this is where you put your bag then I said with a serious face ok then it faded as it became morning tea.

Thin three boys came and said do you want to play hand ball I said yes I said with butterflies in my stomach I said what is your names well I was looking at the ground. one said Paris the other said Mikaiah and the last one was Uili just as they told me their names I well my name is sonny.

As we were playing handball some other kids came up to me and said do you want to play touch as I was still shy but not as shy as befor  I could not say yes I just stayed quiet . Then they walked of that was at lunch time. Then the bell went my butterflies came back because I was shy to go to class then the the kids said how old are you I was just looking at the computers thinking I have never seen that sort of computers in my life then I was going home to tell my dad about my shy but fun day.

new pod cars

On kiwi kids news I read about these  new  pod cars the vehicles can drive by themselves and there are electric powered they can go 16 km h there are in the UK they think that they are coming out in about 2015 to 2017 that is a long time from now so we will have to wait abit in New Zealand. So we will have to wait 2 or 4 years this will be the new way to get around the country. And if you are going for long rides in the new pod cars you can go to sleep instead of staying up to drive.  

And all so the government  is  funding  some money to help  the people to make  it  happen so that all of us will be riding around in 2017 or 2015 by then even one will have all smart phones

even old nans I can not wait to the pod cars come out in the world.
