The Prospective Student

The boy was climbing up the vertical rocky face. He  made it to the point of the mountain but  was struggling,he look like he was  feeling exhausted. Luckily he only still had a small hill to hike until   he got to the dojo. “I hope I can get into the training school”. Once he got to the dojo he knock on the door hoping the sansei will let him in.

The sansei just’s point’s away. The boy think that he is not good enough  to come to the training school. So he prove his self worthy to go to the school. It has been one day and night of meditation.In the moring he opens one of his eyes and sees the sansei. Then the boy stand up but the sansei point’s away again he take a big breath in and then out then he  run at the door and kick it opened the sansei point’s  and then the boy looks. And it is a sign that say’s use the side entry. He was so embarrassed.

Three little wolves.

Once upon a time there were three little wolves the time came for them to leave home and seek their fortunes. Before they left, their mother told them”Whatever you do, do it the best that you can because that is the way to get along in the world.

The first little wolf was lazy. He did not listen to his mother's advice but build a house out of straw because it was the easiest thing to do.

Then the big bad pig came along he said “little wolf  little wolf little wolf let me in” then the little wolf said “no not by the hair of my chiny chin chin”. The big bad pig replied “you better or I will huff and puff and blow your house down”. The little wolf said “no I won't let you in”.

“Then I will blow your house down with a huff and a puff” the pig yelled at the wolf. In a second the house was gone like it never was there.

Then the second little wolf did not do what his mother said none of them did what she said. So he started to build his house out of sticks that was a bit stronger than the straw and it lasts longer than the straw.

So he finished it,then the pig came to the house of sticks then he said “little wolf little wolf little wolf let in”. The wolf then replied “not by the hair of my chinny chin chin”. Then the big bad pig yelled “I will huff and puff and blow your house down”.  “You can try” the little wolf said. So the big bad pig  huffed and he puffed and huffed and puffed then the big bad pig blew the house down .

The third wolf started to build his house out of bricks. It was night when the little wolf finished his house then the big bad pig came to the little wolf's  house. The big bad pig said “little wolf  little wolf  let me in”. Then the little wolf  said “no!!, not by the hair of my chinny chin chin”. Then the big bad pig said then “I will huff and I will puff and I will blow your house down.” The little wolf then yelled “no you can not, my house is too strong it is made out of bricks”. So he left and came back at night and tried to get in the chimney  but the big bad pig landed in a big pot of hot water and got cooked in the pot for dinner.

My literacy

Every day for two hours we go to different classrooms for literacy. This is what I did well - art. It is just my favorite thing at school and we had to draw Maori designs on a bit of paper to start until Ms Tito said it was good enough to do a better copy.

One of the things Ms Tito told all of us is that the maori kowhaiwhai designs came from a ponga tree. On a ponga tree all the branches connect and that is how they got the design.

Now my new group is writing and I am writing about this mean-as animation that we watched on the laptop. We had to write about his feelings and what he was thinking by looking at his expressions.       

I am in Miss Nua class now and we are doing reading I was reading about Matariki the Maori new year. I found heaps of information on Matariki this is one thing I did not know about it was the stars are the god” s eyes.

And this is the website that I got it from is here it has all everything on it that I submit to Miss Nua. We had to answer questions about Matairki and we had to sarah thin up to see if it was right.

League

Every week our class  room 19 we go to rugby in the hall if it is raining.

When we were at the hall the man and the lady were teaching us hold the ball to kick the ball better .

He should as a grubber and a drop kick but most of the kids all ready know how to kick it propel.

Every Thursday  we go to play rugby with the man and the lady.
