The putiputi (the flower.)

Last week my class and I  went  down to Omaru creek we walk in a line as strata as we could.Then when we got there we sat down under the shade. 

Ms T told as the rules about the harakeke and  then she gave me a Craft knife. We had a buddy (my buddy was Howard)  The reason why we went is to get  harakeke is to learn about it how you are not aloud to pick it at  night or when it is raining because you might cut the (Pepi) is the baby or the (matua) the dad or the (whaea) the mum.

It is so so so bad if you whack people with the harakeke the (flax) because maori people beleve tha it is a taonga.

Tuakana Teina (bigger brother or sister litter brother or sister.)

Tuakana Teina is what Room 19 does every Tuesday with Room 9 at the school library after lunch.

It is when the Tuakana the older(brother or sister) and (Teina the littler brother or sister) read to each other a book of their choices.

 I did not get a buddy there were not enough Teina. But this is what happened. I read to myself  and Kori Lee instead.

 On the fist day doing Tuakana Teina me and mosa and kori lee got to go on the iPads. Me and mosa and kori lee read to each other.

2012 net book reflection

This has been a good 2 months at Pt england school because at my other school we did not use netbooks. i just was going to stay up her for a holiday but it turned out wrong. it was so cool when i got my netbook because it was so exciting to figure out to work. it also helps me with my  learning the thing i want to change is that dvd  so that like manaiakalani films on our netbooks that will be better .

netbooks is that i have to remember all my passwords for my netbook  it will be better if we just have one password for all my stuff that i need that would be so much better for me and maybe the other kids.



The things that has to change that we should have a bigger screen keypad  to right on that will be better to right on the bigger screen and britter to see heaps of kids will like it better than the other little netbooks.


this is what we should not have our netbooks in the cowes we could have a bigger cabbed to put in the cubed so you do not have to move it around the place every day it will be so much better with it .
